Megan, representing the county's Emergency Management Agency, told the commission the incident-command decontamination trailer is finished and only requires non-expiring supplies to be stocked. She credited the Adams County Community Foundation for donating the spray liner and local businesses for contributing graphics work or discounts to finish the project.
"Our incident command decon trailer is finished," Megan said, describing donated interior work and a $1,200 contribution from the Moose Lodge plus other vendor discounts that completed the trailer. She added that the county app rollout has performed strongly: roughly 190 Android downloads and 374 on Apple, with week-one interaction counts above 20,000, then about 10,000 in the second week and roughly 6,200 last week.
Commissioners briefly walked outside to inspect the trailer and then resumed the meeting. The chair and staff praised the recent tabletop emergency exercise, noting nearly 50 attendees including the state fire marshal, and encouraged continued drills.
