The county's project team updated commissioners on preliminary geotechnical quotes for the proposed judicial center site and described next steps in the procurement for a construction-manager-at-risk. Nate said he had solicited multiple responses for the CMAR RFQ/RFP and expected proposals from firms across the region. "They have until the 28th; last day for questions is September 24," Nate said. Staff said the evaluation committee will score responses and could recommend a contractor publicly as early as Oct. 13, or by Nov. 4 if interviews are required following election-week timing.
Staff also said they would provide commissioners with scoring sheets and a public rationale when the recommendation is presented so the process is transparent to those not on the committee.
