Votes at a glance: Planning Commission forwards two conditional master-plan approvals to council

At its Sept. 1 meeting the Simpsonville Planning Commission took two formal actions that will be forwarded to city council: a conditional approval of the Cottage Green Phase 2 master site plan and a conditional approval of the Timber's Edge master site plan. Both motions required the applicants to address technical review comments from staff before construction approvals and both passed unanimously.

Cottage Green (SP202603): Commission moved to conditionally approve the Phase 2 master site plan; the motion was recorded as unanimous. Timber's Edge (SP201604): Commission moved to conditionally approve the master site plan showing a maximum of 50 units; the motion passed unanimously. Both approvals were recommendations to city council; staff indicated outstanding technical comments will be resolved through the normal construction-document and permitting process prior to any building permits being issued.
