City schedules impact-fee workshop next Tuesday; commissioners invited

Planning staff announced an informational impact-fee discussion workshop scheduled for next Tuesday at 8 a.m. The session is intended as a "crash course" on how impact fees work; staff said a developer/consulting group will present and answer questions and that a formal study and presentation will be brought back to the commission once complete.

John Derby asked commissioners to consider attending; staff clarified attendance is not required but recommended for those wanting to better understand the fee study and potential future policy changes. The session is informational and will not itself enact any fee changes.
