Rowlett schedules community conversations, Live on Main and other fall events

Mayor Pro Tem Mike Britton outlined multiple community outreach and program announcements tied to the city's upcoming strategic plan and fall events. He encouraged residents to attend two community conversations at the Rowlett Community Center on Sept. 2 (7 p.m.) and Sept. 3 (8:30 a.m.) to share priorities that will shape the city's next strategic plan.

Britton also described a friendly peanut‑butter drive competition with neighboring Sachse for the North Texas Food Bank and promoted the Live on Main fall music series (Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 25). He highlighted National Night Out registration and public‑safety recognitions, and thanked staff and volunteers for recent investments including two new Horton ambulances placed into service on Aug. 31. "We hope to see you there," Britton said of the community conversations.
