Kate Coaten, newly appointed chief information officer, told the committee ISA completed a migration of PeopleSoft human capital and finance systems to the cloud and is executing a major property tax and GRAMA system replacement targeted for 2027. "Our team successfully migrated our enterprise PeopleSoft human capital management or HCM and our finance management systems from on premise to the cloud," Coaten said, stressing improved uptime, disaster recovery and performance.
Coaten also highlighted a GIS infrastructure upgrade that enabled deployment of roughly 10 configurable public applications and described a proof‑of‑concept natural‑language analytics dashboard developed with Quartz that the agency estimates will reclaim staff time. She said these modernization efforts are paired with workforce enablement initiatives and expanded public‑facing services.
