City manager: Legends Global selected to operate Regional Bank Amphitheater

The City Manager told the council that the Regional Bank Amphitheater is moving from construction into operations and that the venue team "has selected Legends Global as to be the operator for the venue." He said staff hiring has started and identified two staff leads by name as "Norm and Travis."

The manager said the city is "hopefully looking at a temporary CEO sometime later this year" and invited council members to tour the facility "sometime in October, approximately" to see progress. He noted the city compared its schedule to a similar project in McKinney, Texas, and said local work appears to be ahead of that timetable. The update was given during the governing body's remarks portion of the meeting and contained no formal motion or vote.
