Town Board approves multiple seasonal and permanent hires, including building department appointment

At its Aug. 31 meeting the Town Board approved a series of personnel appointments covering seasonal, on-call and full-time positions. John Cronin was appointed Shopping Assistance Driver retroactive to Aug. 21 at $25.72 per hour. Kim Reilly was appointed as a FIT Aide (on call as needed), effective Sept. 8 at $18.00 per hour. Emily Parsons was appointed Assistant Recreation Leader (on call as needed), effective Sept. 8 at $20.00 per hour. Victoria Kind-Carr was appointed as a Recreation Specialist at $25.00 per hour.

Notably, the board appointed Amy Mutchnick as a Full-Time Provisional Office Assistant for the Building Department effective Aug. 31, 2026, at an annual salary of $68,640 for a 40-hour workweek, with a 26-week probationary period. These personnel resolutions were recorded in the meeting minutes as adopted; the minutes do not record objections or further discussion.
