The Decatur Planning and Zoning Commission called its regular monthly meeting to order at 5:30 PM and confirmed five members were present. The Chair opened the public comment period and explained it was an opportunity for citizens to speak, adding it typically allows three minutes per speaker. No written or voice comments had been received prior to the meeting and no members of the public spoke in the room.
Business at the meeting was brief: staff requested corrections to the Aug. 4 minutes (to return in October), the commission approved a consent item covering final plat FP26-003, staff noted potential future plats or replats if submitted by the Sept. 8 deadline for the Oct. 6 meeting, and the Chair adjourned the meeting at 5:34 PM. “At this time we have 5 members present,” the Chair stated at the opening; at adjournment the Chair said, “it is 05:34PM. The regular monthly meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission is now adjourned.”
The commission did not record any public testimony or controversial debate during the meeting.
