Committee members at the Aug. 31 workshop urged the district to present assessment results in a clear, web-friendly format so residents and prospective families can access the data without parsing large documents. A member said the state ESEA dashboard is "two years behind," and another suggested a one-page summary that highlights student-teacher ratios, proficiency rates and long-term trends.
Julie said she will add the district’s assessment materials to the district assessment page and work with building administrators to create concise summaries and clickable web tables. "The ESEA dashboard is always a link that's on our district website. It has to be there... The unfortunate thing about the ESEA dashboard is it's two years behind," Julie said, and she agreed to explore a site display that makes current district data more discoverable to community members and prospective residents.
