Clear Creek Independent School District staff held a Parent 101 session to explain Title III Part A and how it supports immigrant children and youth in district schools. The presentation stressed that the program is a school-funded support intended to help students adjust to new language, routines and academic expectations.
The session’s presenter, identified in the transcript as Presenter (Multilingual Education Department, Clear Creek ISD), said the funds “पैसा US department of education से आता है Texas Education Agency के ज़रिए गुजरता है और CCISD तक पहुँचता है.” The presenter framed Title III as additive: “Title 3 का पैसा उस चीज़ में इज़ाफा करेगा जो district पहले से फरहम करता है; यह उसकी जगह नहीं ले सकता.” That is, federal funds should supplement — not replace — services the district already provides.
The presentation outlined two Title III streams: one for students learning English and a separate immigrant-youth portion for students who are recent arrivals to U.S. schools. The district uses counts of eligible students to plan programs and request appropriate federal funding. Families were urged to ask for translated materials, attend welcome events and contact the multilingual education team for more information about campus-level supports.
CCISD staff pointed families to a Parent 01:01 federal programs guide and the district’s federal programs web page for detailed resources and surveys to share feedback.
