County receives certified $439,213.17 pay application for Evidence Storage & Firing Range as work nears turnover

Turner Construction Company submitted Application for Payment No. 18 for the Evidence Storage & Firing Range project, requesting $439,213.17 for work through Aug. 31, 2026. Farnsworth Group reviewed and certified the application for the Dallas County Board of Supervisors to consider during the Sept. 1 meeting packet.

The payment package includes the contractor’s cover letter and a Farnsworth certification: “We are enclosing (1) electronic copy of Turner Construction Company’s Application for Payment No. 18, period ending 08/31/2026, requesting payment in the amount of $439,213.17 for the above-referenced project.” Attached project updates highlight that final testing (electrical and NFPA 72 fire alarm testing) passed, wire‑mesh partitions and lighting were installed in evidence storage, and the Certificate of Occupancy was awarded for portions of the work.

The continuation sheets list subcontractor invoices and line‑item progress, and Turner’s internal schedule lookahead shows remaining punch‑list and turnover activities. County staff received the certified application as part of capital project review; processing will follow county payment procedures once authorization is confirmed.
