ADW Architects, Lightner Construction and Barfield Grading named for Fort Mill Fire Station No. 3; chief outlines partners and timeline

Town officials identified the firms leading design and construction for Fort Mill Fire Station No. 3 and described an operational timeline for the facility. "ADW architects... our general contractor, Lightner construction and our grading company, Barfield Grading," Fire Chief Wilkerson said, thanking the firms for helping the town hold a strict schedule.

Wilkerson said "weeks of hard work have already occurred in preparation for today," and that contractors have moved dirt and prepared the site; he expressed gratitude to staffers including Deputy Fire Marshall Kelly, Fire Marshal Werner and Chris Sardelli for logistics. The chief said the town expects to watch the station "come to life" over the next year and plans a grand opening next fall.
