Planning commission appoints new chair and vice chair

The planning commission voted to appoint a new chair and vice chair during its meeting. The outgoing chair said she must resign the chair position because of a recent appointment to the township clerk role and nominated Vice Chair Larry Nichols for chair; the commission approved the nomination by voice vote.

The commission then nominated and approved Greg as vice chair (recorded in the minutes as Greg Knowlack/Nowak). The change in officers follows standard procedure when a commissioner takes on an incompatible officer role elsewhere in township government.
