Bond 2024 construction on track; steel and slabs to appear soon

The board received an update on Bond 2024 construction. S1 reported that most import and grading for the new campus have been completed and that structural steel deliveries for the main building are scheduled, with concrete masonry and slab work progressing on the junior-high wing. Contractors are starting rebar and cement stabilization for parking and fire-lane areas and expected roof and structural framing to be visible by the next meeting.

Trustees were told the district had resolved some site drainage and plumbing milestones and that the district will follow with paving operations and hydroseeding. Staff said heavy hauling is nearly finished and that work on detention-pond shaping and flume installation will continue while crews move into framing and roofing phases.
