Board to review required security audit; presentation by Dr. Carter and Judd scheduled

A staff member told board members that a required security-audit review will be presented by Dr. Carter and Judd and that the board is required to review the document so it can be sent in; the item does not require board approval, only review.

"...Doctor. Carter and I believe Judd will be up here to go over a required security audit. Review. Review. But you don't have to approve that, but you do have to you do have to review it so that they can send it in," the staff member said. The presenter pointed to the audit language included in the packet and invited board members to examine it later in the meeting.

The staff member also noted scheduling: the board must wait until 5:30 p.m. for a later meeting and invited members to eat beforehand. The scheduled security-audit review is a required procedural step to complete the district's submissions, according to the presenter.
