Commission grants extension for 5-acre FP26-16 at US 380 and Western Boulevard

Staff presented FP26-16 (Allsup's West Bend Addition), a roughly 5-acre property on the southwest corner of US 380 and Western Boulevard associated with a proposed gas station. Staff said the plat did not meet approval criteria at this time but had no objection to an extension request to allow additional work on outstanding items. "They're still working towards approval, and so they've requested an extension, which staff has no objection to," staff said.

Commissioner Dyer moved to approve the extension request to the Sept. 23 meeting; Commissioner Garland seconded. The commission voted 4–0 to grant the extension. No substantive site approval was granted; the extension preserves the applicant's place on the schedule while staff and the applicant address outstanding criteria.
