Officials sign final beam at Western State Hospital topping-out ceremony

After remarks from state and agency leaders and Clark Construction, Eric Olson invited Governor Bob Ferguson and others to come forward to sign the final beam that will be incorporated into the new hospital. The signing is a ceremonial recognition of the superstructure's completion and the collaborative workforce effort behind the project.

Speakers closed with thanks to craft workers and trade partners; there were no votes, contracts or policy actions taken during the ceremony. Attendees then prepared to queue to add signatures to the beam.
