Debt committee names Zions as financial advisor after RFP

Committee staff reported that three firms responded to the county’s financial-advisor RFP and that the subcommittee selected Zions to serve as the financial advisor for upcoming county financings. A subcommittee member announced: “Zions was selected, and we look forward to working with them for the next several years” (Financial advisor, speaker 8).

County staff and Zions representatives traded brief remarks congratulating one another and noting the scope of upcoming work on financing structure, rating presentations, and disclosure. The committee did not take a separate roll-call vote in the main body of the meeting; the selection was described as the subcommittee’s choice and was presented for the committee’s awareness.
