Montgomery Township to recognize planning coordinator Sherry Crews at Sept. 17 township committee meeting

Montgomery Township officials announced Aug. 27 that planning department staffer Sherry Crews will retire after a long tenure with the township. The chair noted Crews was "hired in 1987" and has "been promoted many times," and encouraged board members to congratulate her; the chair said the township committee will hold a recognition of her service at its Sept. 17 meeting.

Board staff and colleagues joined in praising Crews' service. The clerk/staff speaker said the planning department will be well positioned because Crews has trained her successor and helped build departmental continuity.
