West Point Public Schools board unanimously approves meeting agenda and consent agenda, schedules budget hearing

The Board of Education of WEST POINT PUBLIC SCHOOLS unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the consent agenda during its Aug. 26, 2026 meeting. Eric Brockmann moved to approve the agenda; Herb Hasenkamp seconded. The motion carried on a roll-call vote: Steve Blocher, Eric Brockmann, Herb Hasenkamp, Steve Hughes, Holly Hunke and Eunice Ramirez were recorded as "Yea."

Holly Hunke moved to approve the consent agenda and Steve Hughes seconded; that motion also passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. The board then announced a special meeting for the budget hearing and the hearing to set the final tax request on Sept. 14, 2026 at 6:00 PM, followed by the regular meeting at 6:30 PM the same evening. The minutes record the approvals and the scheduled dates but do not include further debate or amendments to the agenda or consent items.
