The Measure Z Oversight Advisory Committee received an interim fiscal report for FY25-26 showing a beginning fund balance of $35,797 and Measure Z assessment receipts of roughly $358,000, Finance Manager Adam Janssen said.
“So as of June 30, the fiscal year has ended,” Janssen told the committee and noted the figures remain subject to change until the final audit is complete. He said facility rental revenue totaled about $29,000 and that the larger revenue line came from the $28 per-parcel assessment, which accounted for most Measure Z receipts.
Janssen explained staff had completed an interim audit and that the books still required final posting and potential adjustments. He identified key park expenditures — Marne O’Brien Park had the largest spending — and said a one-time slurry-seal project cost about $18,000 to repave a parking lot. Committee members asked for printed financial detail; staff pointed them to the agenda packet where vendor-level figures appear (staff report, page 9).
The committee’s recommendation was to receive and file the report; no formal vote was required on the filing itself. Staff said the numbers will be finalized after the completion of the final audit.
