Vendors report strong sales at VillaFest; committee discusses parking, water and vendor support

Multiple committee members and staff described vendor feedback collected in a post-event survey: many vendors reported strong sales and some sold out before closing time. Lily Morgan (speaker 5) said one vendor told staff, "Any small business would be foolish not to participate in this event," and the committee suggested using that language in marketing.

Committee members flagged operational issues for next year: confusing parking directions to a funeral home lot that led to extra walking, a lack of convenient water for vendors late in the day, and too few garbage cans. Suggestions included a modest rolling cooler/wagon to deliver water, a 'VillaFest Passport' stamping booklet to encourage attendees to visit multiple booths, and strategic placement of trash receptacles.
