Saint Paul public hearing closed unanimously after hour of testimony

Following roughly an hour of public testimony on city surveillance contracts, Chair moved to close the public hearing; the clerk announced the result as "7 in favor, none opposed." The motion closed the hearing and the council did not take further action on contracts during the meeting.

Chair thanked attendees, reminded residents they could follow up with individual council members and said the council would process the testimony and consider next steps. The hearing record will be available for council review and possible future agenda items.
