Council recognizes $5,449.40 insurance proceeds for street vehicle repairs

The Common Council amended the FY2026 General Fund budget to record $5,449.40 in insurance recoveries and to appropriate the same amount to vehicle maintenance and repair for a Street Department 2022 Ford F-150 that was damaged on July 14, 2026. The minutes list the insurance proceeds as representing assessed repair cost less the $1,000 City deductible; the motion was seconded and adopted.

The amendment increases revenue line A.0000.32680 Insurance Recoveries and increases expense line A.1640.54300 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair by $5,449.40. The minutes do not show a roll-call tally for the vote.
