Petersburgh reports year of facility repairs and upgrades, cites modest incremental cost

Town officials provided a rundown of facilities work completed across municipal buildings, describing upgrades and repairs performed this year and emphasizing cost control. Chair listed completed items including AED training for staff, LED lighting upgrades, generator work, new display cabinet, window replacements, interior painting, carpet cleaning, plumbing repairs and a new roof.

"I think to get away with really $25,000 of incremental cost for all of that, I think it's very ... I'm pretty proud of that," the chair said, noting that some emergency repairs (for example, a highway garage repair of roughly $27,000) affected fund balances. The town also reported installation of maintenance‑tracking software to manage work orders and annual inspections.
