Council appoints Jennifer Mabus to 4th Ward and names Charles Swartz to Sewer Authority

Jennifer Mabus approached Council and said she is excited to contribute to the borough; she identified herself as a Career and Technical Education aide at Milton High School, a Milton native who served in the Navy, and someone who will observe and help as needed. Ms. Fawess moved to add the appointment to the agenda; Mr. John Pfeil seconded. After a roll-call vote of 7–0, Council appointed Mabus to fill the 4th Ward vacancy through December 2023.

Separately, Council approved appointing Charles Swartz to the Milton Regional Sewer Authority for a five-year term from 2023 to 2027; the transcript notes Mr. Swartz abstained on that appointment. The Jan. 11 meeting minutes show these personnel actions were the principal appointment items on the agenda; Council adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
