Superintendent shares safety-survey and assessment results; board requests building-level breakdown

Superintendent Erfourth told trustees that the district survey of employees about safety attracted 66 responses out of 166 staff members: 52 answered yes and 14 answered no on the summarized safety question. He said high-level takeaways indicate most respondents feel safe but that the board and administration would benefit from a building-level breakdown of the responses.

Erfourth also shared K–8 i-Ready data comparing Fall 2024 to Fall 2025 and high-school NWEA results for Fall 2025 and Winter 2026 by grade level. He noted winter benchmark data collection is incomplete because recent snow days delayed testing. Trustees asked staff to return with more granular data by building to better inform monitoring and supports.
