Borough manager to join KMIT board, to attend PSAB conference in June

Jess Novinger, Milton Borough Manager, told council she was selected as a trustee of the Keystone Municipal Insurance Trust (KMIT) and will be officially appointed at KMIT’s meeting the following day. She asked council’s permission to attend the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs (PSAB) annual conference at the Hershey Lodge from Monday, June 5 through Wednesday, June 7; council approved the $852.05 request on a motion by Mrs. Meckley, seconded by Ms. Fawess.

Novinger also noted the KMIT annual meeting immediately follows the PSAB business meeting. The approval authorizes payment of travel and mileage totaling $852.05; the motion record in the minutes states the request "carried," but no roll-call vote tally is specified in the minutes. Novinger’s attendance and KMIT appointment were recorded under the Borough Manager’s report.
