Buffalo Daze set for Oct. 3; Halloween parade and activities planned for Oct. 31

The commission set Buffalo Daze for Oct. 3 (with a church event Oct. 4) at the school and Buffalo Square; Commissioners have rented the square for both days. For Halloween on Oct. 31, the commission planned a 5:00 p.m. costume parade (encroachment permit required), glow sticks for participants, a potential haunted-ghost event to be coordinated with Kayla Jones, trick-or-treat from 6–8 p.m., a house-decorating contest and a Halloween dance party.

Commissioners asked clerks to submit the required encroachment permits for street closures and discussed using an event table at the haunted-ghost event to collect resident survey input for future programming.
