The district presented a finance and facilities review comparing 2016 to 2026, saying facility-improvement work exceeded $100,000,000 over the last 10 years and outlining planned projects for 2026.
Dr. DiPonio listed a set of planned milestones for 2026, including a Thrun policy adoption scheduled for summer 2026, an Ad Center planned for spring 2026, a community center and Early Childhood Center launch in summer/August 2026, a North Lake relocation in August 2026, and an expansion of alternative-education programming in Fall 2026.
Board members conducted a public tour of the Early Childhood Center, Community Center and administrative offices at 28850 Harper Ave; the tour began at approximately 9:50 a.m. The workshop concluded after the tour and a motion to adjourn was made by Amy Thomas‑August, seconded by Kenneth Gulock and passed with four yeas and three absences. The meeting adjourned at 12:24 p.m.
