State re-entry program reports rising acceptance rates; fundraiser T-shirt approved

State Re-Entry Chair Christopher Fernandes presented program statistics and funding status for the re-entry program, reporting a combined checking balance of $4,391.73 and savings $1,090.47 (combined $5,482.20). Acceptance statistics reported: December 17 of 56 (30%), January 32 of 60 (53%), February 32 of 56 (64%) and March 1 of 30 (3%); the report states the program has seen a 25% jump in acceptance since December. Re-entries funded in 2026 totaled one case with $200 spent to date; total reentries funded 2023–2025 numbered 219 with $33,213 expended over those years.

The meeting approved a motion, moved by Megan Throckmorton, to produce fundraiser T-shirts (rather than beanies) using the previous Oxford House logo to raise funds for the re-entry program; details on distribution and participating houses to be coordinated by the state Re-Entry Chair. The report also requested updated lists of houses that accept re-entry applications to publish on the website.
