World Council chair outlines priorities: communication, collaboration and impact

Cherie, World Council chair, told members that the council will focus on three priorities: "Strengthening Communication: Ensuring transparency and open dialogue among members," "Enhancing Collaboration: Encouraging cross-functional teamwork," and "Focusing on Impact: Aligning our efforts with our mission."

She reported committee work on charters and member retention (including a short presentation using DePaul study data), networking with OHI and treatment partners, technology outreach for discounts and resources, and environmental safety measures for houses (furnace-filter and smoke-detector logs). Cherie also said she completed accounting for the $6,000 in state travel funds she used and turned in receipts to the Budget & Finance Chair. The World Council report was accepted (MSP).
