Anahuac ISD board hires Region 5 to lead superintendent search

The Anahuac Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously Jan. 10 to hire Region 5 to conduct the district's superintendent search. Trustee Carlton Carrington made the motion and Trustee Michael Morehead seconded it; the board recorded a 7–0 vote in favor.

Board minutes record the motion verbatim: "Move to hire Region 5 as Superintendent search firm." The minutes do not include the vendor contract, scope, estimated cost, or timeline for the search; the record also does not identify whether Region 5 refers to an education service center, a private search firm, or another entity.
