Hutton Road culvert boring complete; superintendent says results are pending

Superintendent of Highways Schultz reported to the board that boring work on the Hutton Road culvert is complete and that the town is waiting for the test results needed to determine the full scope of repairs. "Boring has been completed; waiting on results. This will be a large project," Schultz said at the March 7 workshop.

Town Clerk Melissa M. Haacke said she has reached out to Assemblyman Hawley to inquire about grant funding to help cover remediation costs. The board discussed that the culvert replacement will require planning and potential outside funding before work can proceed.
