Commissioners approved a Statement of Work with DriveSavers to complete a discovery phase and examine provided RAID systems at a total discovery cost of $21,250.00. The DriveSavers item was approved as part of the consent agenda; the motion to approve the consent items was made by Chairman Jacob McHughes and seconded by Vice-Chairman Rusty Grissom.
The board also authorized payment of invoice #14 to Phillips Murrah P.C. for $1,829.00 related to COCOS matters. Separately, a contract with The Virtue Center was approved to provide Bovine's Life Skills curriculum to Norman Public Schools for third through fifth grades for Spring and Fall 2026 semesters, commencing Jan. 1, 2026, and terminating Dec. 31, 2026, at an amount not to exceed $22,547.50 per quarter unless amended in writing. The clerk's note clarified the county account for payment as 251200 (State Opioid Abatement Program account coding corrected in the minutes).
County administrative staff will proceed with vendor onboarding for DriveSavers and schedule the school-based curriculum subject to final contract execution.
