Weber County approves severance agreements for transfer-station employees listed on consent agenda

During the consent agenda on June 9, the chair read a list of severance agreements for the county's transfer-station employees and the board approved those agreements along with other consent items.

The chair read the roster of named employees: "requests for approval of the severance agreement by between Weber County and the following Weber County transfer station employees. Guadalupe Mose, Thomas Paine, Caleb Morris, Lance Peterson, Richard Stanley, William Kozair, Eric Bill, Michael Amadondo, Barry Bateman, Andy Rees, Brock Brock Brock Walker, Dimitric Garcia, Robert Gardner, Brandon Hedgepeth, Joni Hopper, Tina Tallman, Ashley Nebeker, Connie Veil, Jason Thorstead, Jason Hill, Michael Stevens, Oscar Hernandez, Isabel Burleson, Jessica Norman, Tina Sanchez, Anna Campbell, John Watson, and Wendy Glass." The board then moved to approve the consent items, and the motion carried.

Separately in the meeting, commissioners discussed the operational decision to move transfer-station operations to a private operator and thanked the listed employees for their service.
