Weber County processes $427K in purchase orders and roughly $1.6M in warrants this week, staff says

At the start of the meeting, county finance staff presented a weekly procurement and warrants summary showing $427,167.72 in purchase orders and roughly $1.6 million in warrant payments for the week.

Ricky Hatch outlined where the money was allocated: "We issued 13 purchase orders this week for $427,000. Just over 0.5 that amount, $227,000 is for the IT department, almost exclusively for software licensing. 29% or a $124,000 was for the ice sheet to perform elevator repairs and upgrades, and 9% or $36,000 was for the roads, and that will go towards paving on 2200 North." Hatch also listed the top payees and noted funds for jail boiler replacement and library AI learning towers among the transactions.
