Acting chair named; meeting called to order

The Planning Commission opened with a quick nomination to cover leadership after both the chair and vice chair were absent. A committee member moved “I’ll nominate Ben to run the meeting,” which was seconded and accepted; the acting presider then called the meeting to order five minutes late at 03:35.

The commission proceeded to roll call and approved the prior meeting minutes by voice/roll call; the motion was moved, seconded and recorded as all present voting yes. The acting chair also noted a technical issue that prevented one member from seeing the agenda on their computer but confirmed the agenda was displayed on the meeting screen.
