Commission to receive completed railway timetable and operational documents for volunteer review and CPUC observation

Bryce Lemelle said he is reviewing a set of guiding documents for railroad operations — including a timetable, volunteer handbook, operating rules and special instructions — and expected to finalize the timetable draft in time for a Railway Foundation meeting next week. "I have the draft. I'd say it's about 80% complete," he said, and staff plan to circulate the finalized documents to volunteers and to the CPUC contact who observes operations.

The documents aim to clarify operating instructions for volunteers and the train crew; after Foundation review staff will complete the package and distribute it to volunteers and regulatory contacts. Commissioners did not take formal action but welcomed the progress toward documented procedures.
