Council seeks more data, schedules site walk after Lester B. Orcutt workshop; no votes taken

Councilors repeatedly asked staff for a street‑by‑street inventory of 'safe' parking (locations where vehicles can be fully off the travel way), a breakdown of cost estimates (reclamation vs. fully raised sidewalks), and the slides used in the presentation. Several members supported a public site walk during August peak season to observe conditions firsthand. Director Demers said staff would provide the requested material and that the initial drawing was intended as a starting point. No ordinance or appropriation was approved during the workshop; next steps are staff follow-up, data sharing from BPIA and Maine Audubon, and a scheduled site visit.
