Council approves Grays Lot use agreement clarifying maintenance and electrical access

Council approved a use agreement for Grays Lot after staff presented a draft based on earlier work session discussions. The agreement documents roles for gazebo maintenance, electrical access, insurance requirements and affirms that the property remains city-owned.

"The purpose of the use agreement… is when the Pleasant Hill Historic District came to us… to ask to put electric advocacy bills… it's probably better to just have all of this in writing in one agreement," said the staff presenter. The council moved to approve the agreement, the motion received a second and the chair declared the agreement passed. Staff said they will forward the signed agreement to the Pleasant Hill Historic District board for its review and signature if the council makes no further changes.
