Kearney County appoints Lisa Betty as Clerk of the District Court

The Kearney County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 11, 2026 appointed Lisa Betty to fill the vacancy for Clerk of the District Court, with the appointment effective Aug. 24, 2026 and continuing through Jan. 7, 2027. The action was taken during a special meeting convened at 9:30 a.m. in the Commissioners’ Room of the Kearney County Courthouse in Minden.
