Kearney County commissioners approve Aug. 4 minutes, conduct interviews and adjourn Board of Equalization

The Kearney County Board of Commissioners, meeting in special session on Aug. 11, 2026 in Minden, approved the minutes of the Aug. 4, 2026 meeting and recorded attendance for the session that began at 9:30 a.m. Present were Chairman Brent Stewart and board members Jason Sinsel, Jeff England, James Miller, Robert Swanson and Nathan Avery; Heath Hofstetter was absent. County Clerk Jenni Lupkes, County Attorney Melodie Bellamy and Sheriff Scott White were recorded as present.
