Arts group thanks council and outlines public art installations, festival plans

A representative reading a letter on behalf of a local arts association thanked the council for its support of public art in The Village and described recent and planned installations. The letter noted the association installed its first vinyl art rack at a Brooklyn intersection in May and July and said two to three additional wraps are planned, with an aim to finish them before the local arts festival.

The letter said the upcoming festival would include "more than 60 artist booths, 10 live performances, and 8 boot trucks," and asked the council to encourage volunteers to help at the October event (the transcript gives the festival date as October 2026). When asked where the new wraps would go, staff said ASCII Square and the library were planned locations.
