Mayor presents proclamations recognizing three local Eagle Scouts

Mayor Braxton Banks read a proclamation honoring three young men who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout and described their service projects. The proclamation named Victor Teske, Colby Townsend and Aiden Pemberton and credited their projects with improving accessibility and recreation at local facilities.

The mayor noted one project built accessible raised garden beds at Radiance Senior Living in The Village, another installed a regulation soccer goal at Kingsgate Christian School in Yukon, and a third constructed raised garden beds for Hardy Charter Preparatory Middle School in Oklahoma City. "I, Braxton Banks, mayor of the city of the village, do hereby recognize Colby, Victor, and Aiden..." the mayor said as he read the proclamation.
