West Noble outlines education-fund revenue estimates and ADM sensitivities

Andrew, chief finance, said the education fund supports teacher salaries, paraprofessionals, special-education co-op payments and other instructional costs and that its revenue depends on ADM (account-day/student counts). He advised the board the district's estimated education-fund revenue for 2027 is $18,072,275.

Andrew noted the district received about $66,000 in Medicaid reimbursements in the prior July-to-June year and set a goal of roughly $75,000 for next year; he also said summer-school reimbursements of about $35,000 do not fully cover program costs and the district runs the program at a loss under current state funding.

He recommended a September workshop to refine counts after students are in seats and then publish Form 3 on Gateway to meet the public-hearing and adoption deadlines in late September and October.
