Council adopts consent agenda including fence contract and electronic message center purchase

Council moved and approved a consent agenda covering several resolutions and procurement items. The consent package included acceptance of per‑diem EMT resignations, an hourly‑rate correction for per‑diem EMTs, adoption of a special items chapter under NJSA 48:4‑80.7, adoption of a complete and green streets policy, a $5,360 award to 4 Seasons Fence Company LLC for chain‑link fencing and batting cage sleeve installation, and authorization to purchase and install an electronic message center not to exceed $36,380 through a cooperative purchasing system.

Council adopted the consent agenda by roll call; items were presented as noncontroversial and approved en bloc. The mayor said staff will proceed with the procurements and contract awards as authorized by the resolutions.
