Recreation commission schedules summer concerts, announces pickleball courts and Sept. 27 fundraiser

Recreation chairman Geminazzi told the council the Buena Borough Recreation Commission will host three evenings of live music at the Joe Dale Pavilion this summer: Group Therapy on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6:30 p.m., a performance on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 6:30 p.m., and TJ Bridal Band on Thursday, Sept. 17. "The concerts will be held at the Joe Dale Pavilion and Buenavini Park," he said.

Geminazzi also said the pickleball and tennis courts are complete and that fence installation by 4 Seasons Fence Company is anticipated this week; the company will also install sleeves for a batting cage. He announced a fundraising macaroni and meatball dinner on Sunday, Sept. 27 at the Luis Bazile Center (tickets $20), with takeout and dine‑in options. The commission is selling tickets after Labor Day, and proceeds will support recreation programming.
