Red Willow County commissioners approve consent agenda, set claims and appointments

The Red Willow County Board of Commissioners met August 10, 2026, and approved a multi-item consent agenda that included minutes, accounts payable claims, NDOT certification forms and resolution, the NBCS budget report for FY 25/26, a health board reappointment and an oversize load permit. Chairman Ted Gans reconvened the Board at 9:16 a.m.; the motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Commissioner Charles Fritsche and seconded by Commissioner Randy Dean and passed by roll call with all members voting aye.

The consent agenda referenced accounts payable claims in the amount of $246,371.16 as part of the motion to approve. The detailed claims list included in the minutes records a grand total of $246,267.01 across funds and vendors, including $63,441.08 in the General Fund and $81,344.06 in the Road Fund. The Board also reviewed monthly revenue reports from the Clerk of District and County Clerk, placed those reports on file, and set the next meeting for August 24, 2026 when minutes must be approved.
